What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Townhouse - Detroit?
The Townhouse Detroit Concierge Team are our guests first impression; they offer a warm greeting to every guest and welcome them into our home. They make guests comfortable and assist in creating unique experiences for each of our guests. They manage the reservations and learn about special occasions, requests and communicate these to the Managment team and Service Artists while assisting with plotting and orchestrating the evening service.
Qualifications/Prerequisites:
We’re looking for responsible, hardworking individuals who understand the importance of genuine hospitality, attention to detail and delivering superior service. Our Concierge Team is a celebration of Hosts who are expected to be mature, respectful, accommodating, friendly and welcoming.
The ideal candidate should have:

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Take and manage reservations
- Inquire about any special occasions and requests
- Enter appropriate guest information into Resy
- Help Management orchestrate the evening
- Works with Service Artists to create one of a kind experiences for our guests
- Offer suggestions/to make accommodations to guests looking for other venues to visit
- Give restaurant tours and maintains knowledge of the venue
- Maintains a hospitable and organized atmosphere at the Concierge desk
- Maintain an accurate quote for guests on the waitlist
- Proactively manage all reservations—know who is coming before they arrive as well as assisting with special requests
