Manufacturing Supervisor's plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient production, team development, and overall job satisfaction. This position is a working Supervisor who will be working side by side with their crew.
Essential Functions
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities including hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; resolving problems, etc.
- Manage performance, productivity, attendance, quality, and drive personal accountability
- Troubleshoot systems and assists Manufacturing Technicians in their duties when needed
- Create an environment of continuous improvement by ensuring proper training
- Communicate with HR and Maintain adequate staffing for the work load
- Maintain the proper tools and equipment necessary to ensure workload can be done
- Establishes or adjusts standard operating procedures (SOP's) to meet production schedules
- Ensure efficient completion of work
- Create and maintain the safest working environment possible
- Operates and maintains machinery and production line equipment
- Keeping equipment maintenance logs
- Collaborating with other supervisors and departments to complete production orders on time
- Complying with internal policies and industry regulations
- Ensure work area is clean and safe

Required Experience :
Required Physical Demands :
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products. Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.
Work Environment :
Manufacturing environment : loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand.
Required PPE : steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, dust masks, and / or respirators.
