Job Title : Manufacturing Painter
Job Summary :
A Manufacturing Painter is responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various manufactured products, parts, or surfaces. This role ensures that materials meet quality and durability standards, adhere to safety regulations, and maintain an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The ideal candidate will have experience with painting techniques, surface preparation, and equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, or applying primers.
- Mix and match paint colors according to specifications.
- Apply paint using spray guns, rollers, or brushes.
- Operate and maintain painting equipment such as spray booths, compressors, and drying ovens.
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality, ensuring even coverage and smooth finishes.
- Follow safety procedures, including wearing protective equipment and properly handling hazardous materials.
- Perform touch-ups and refinishing as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Required Physical Demands :
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products. Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.
Work Environment :
Manufacturing environment : loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand,
Required PPE : steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, dust masks, and / or respirators.
