Mfg Tech -Valve Assembly
Valve Assembly Tech is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining molding machines used in the production of valves. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to ensure the efficient and precise manufacturing of high-quality valves.
Essential Job Functions:
Valve Assembly Tech is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining molding machines used in the production of valves. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to ensure the efficient and precise manufacturing of high-quality valves.
Essential Job Functions:
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
- Assemble valves and related components
- Cut shafts
- Paint
- Set stroke
- Rebuild cylinders
- Configure and set up
- machines according to specifications
- Operate equipment to produce valves within defined tolerances and quality standards
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process
- Strong attention to detail and very safety oriented

Requirements:
- Safe operation of all tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Materials handling experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team-oriented work environment
- Ability to work scheduled hours and comply with the company policies
Required Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products. Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment: loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand.
Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
