About Us:
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Charleston Airport Convention Center is a welcoming and vibrant hotel located near the Charleston International Airport and the North Charleston Convention Center. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our guests, and we are currently seeking a diligent Night Auditor to join us in maintaining our commitment to excellence. This position is part-time Friday & Saturday 11pm - 7am.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct the night audit process, including verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing financial transactions, and preparing reports.
- Greet and assist guests during the overnight hours, providing exceptional customer service.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs for late-night arrivals and early departures.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure the security of the hotel by monitoring surveillance cameras and performing safety and security checks.
- Prepare and serve coffee and refreshments for early morning guests.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to communicate important information and ensure a seamless transition to the day shift.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
