Our Front Desk Agents take the initiative to deliver a wide range of services that guide guests through their entire stay. They are empowered to move about their space and do what needs to be done. Whether processing operational needs, addressing guest requests, completing reports, or sharing the highlights of the local area, the Front Desk Agents makes transactions feel like part of the experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
- Manage online and phone reservations.
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data.
- Register guests and collecting necessary information (such as contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms.
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities.
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner and direct to the manager on duty as needed.
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs.
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests.
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate.
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
Skills
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role is highly preferred.
- Experience with hotel reservations software such as FOSSE PMS is highly preferred.
- Experience with Marriott applications, such as Empower and MGS is highly preferred.
- Customer service attitude, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Specific Requirements
This position might require two overnight shifts.
