What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Townplace Suites by Marriot?
The Maintenance Tech works closely with both the Front desk as well as the Executive Housekeeper to ensure a well maintained and clean hotel.
As the Maintenance Tech,you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the higheststandards. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performinggeneral maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures.
Job responsibilitiesare:
Perform minor building,HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting/sheetrock repairs as necessary
- Perform tasks including, but not limited to Carpet cleaning, changing light bulbs, small maintenance projects as assigned.
- Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
- Perform Preventative Maintenance in rooms
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed
- Support Management and Housekeeping departments with any special projects
- Drivers Lisence, and a car, ability to pick up parts needed.
- Driving a shuttle
Can start immediately.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
