Position SummaryA CDL Driver is responsible for the operations of a low-boy, flatbed, or other sized truck to deliver heavy equipment and materials to various job sites. This position is responsible for the safe transportation of all equipment / materials, loading / unloading, and securing equipment to trailers.Duties and Responsibilities IncludeEssential Duties :
- Drives truck with trailer, hauling equipment to and from garage / storage to work sites
- Positions chains, straps, and binders to secure loads during transit
- Loads and unloads equipment on trailers
- Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Maintains logs and records in compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintains and checks truck, trailer, and supplies to ensure road-worthiness
- Performs minor emergency roadside repairs as needed
- Works various shifts based on the needs of the job

- Valid Class A CDL and satisfactory driving record required per Company policy
- Knowledge of essential job functions and responsibilities

- Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations
- 18 years of age or older, or 21 if CDL is required
- Legally authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred :
- Previous experience in construction or similar environment
