Job Description:
Township Building Services is hiring a Trash Removal and Digester System Assistant at Tacoma Mall. This vital role ensures that mall trash is properly managed, including using the onsite digester system and assisting tenants with its operation.
Responsibilities:
Collect and remove trash from designated areas throughout the mall.
Properly process collected waste using the onsite digester system.
Assist tenants in understanding and using the digester system as needed.
Monitor high-traffic areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
Report maintenance or operational issues to the supervisor.
Assist with additional cleaning and operational tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and operational standards.
Willingness to learn the proper operation of the onsite digester system.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to assist tenants effectively.
Dependability and punctuality.
Prior experience in janitorial, cleaning, or waste management is a plus but not required.
Schedule:
Shifts may vary; weekend availability is preferred.
