- Provide secretarial support for Department Chair and counseling staff;
- Provide backup support for the Administrative Assistant for Counseling
- Work with counseling staff to meet the needs of students, staff, and community;
- Work in collaboration with the DHS clerical staff to meet the needs of students, staff, and community;
- Manage calendars and schedule meetings for the Department Chair, Counselors, Social Workers, and 504 Coordinators.
- Coding for Counselors and Social Workers
- Work collaboratively and independently on major projects; (some examples, but not limited to)
- Assist with Warrior Welcome (evening program)
- Registration packet for transfer students
- Star Testing
- Interact with students on issues ranging from requests for appointments to crisis situations
- Bilingual preferred, Spanish
- Excellent technology skills are required. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of current technology.

SUMMARY:
The Administrative Assistant works with the Counseling Department Chair and/or the Office Manager and the clerical staff to meet the needs of students, staff, and community.
