Administrative Clerk for District 211 North Campus(12-Month- Tier 3)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for correspondence, reports, forms, schedules calendars, etc. pertaining to the Program Administrator
- Responsible for absence reporting and reconciling
- Responsible for the preparation of IEP/CSE/Domain meetings; including preparation of paperwork, documents in student information system, parent communication
- Maintain the student information system to ensure all information is updated and correct
- Maintain students’ files for special education students
- Assist in the preparation of budget materials; order books, supplies and materials for teachers, therapists and building programs
- Process, record and initiate payments for requisitions, purchase orders, requests for disbursements, as well as reconcile the corporate credit card
- Maintain records of board and activity accounts for each program; keep a running spreadsheet/google sheet of expenses
- Maintain the records of the special education student database in ISBE, IWAS and I-Star systems
- Prepare student record information for authorized personnel; i.e., DCFS, SASS, Juvenile Systems, Probation Officers, Rehab Centers, etc.
- Assist with the scanning and boxing of student records for students that have graduated or aged out.
- Register current students for summer school; set up summer school transportation
- Work with teachers each semester end to ensure grades are properly posted
- Maintain communications with registrars, nurses, and all other special education personnel within the home schools
- Assist therapists with clerical services when needed
- Maintain building inventories, such as books, building keys, electronics
- Assist with the student scheduling process, including transportation routes when necessary
- Assist with paperwork for free and reduced students
- Perform any other duties as requested by the Program Administrator
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Google docs and sheets
- Demonstrate good interpersonal relations and communication skills

- Demonstrate leadership capabilities, time management and self-direction
