Responsibilities
- Manages access and security of HR systems and the integration of the human resources information systems with other systems.
- Coordinates major personnel reports, surveys, and information.
- Assembles and provides ongoing data regarding staff to address district reporting needs.
- Prepares and administers salary information.
- Coordinates unemployment claims and hearings.
- Manages long-term leave, including FMLA and extended sick leave and maternity leaves.
- Oversees the fulfillment of ISBE and other state mandates related to personnel.
- Processes employment verification and employee history requests.
- Assists employees with information and questions regarding personnel records and status.
- Assists in the preparation of employee handbooks.
- In coordination with payroll, assists with District payroll functions and verifies pay record accuracy.
- Assists administrators and building support staff by providing training and responding to questions related to the human resources processes and information systems.
- Oversees management of substitute teacher records and payment.
- Verify and maintain accurate employee leave and attendance records.
- Oversees the onboarding and off-boarding of staff in human resources information systems.
- Determine access and security in HR information systems for users.
- Other duties as assigned.
