Responsibilities

  • Manages access and security of HR systems and the integration of the human resources information systems with other systems.
  • Coordinates major personnel reports, surveys, and information.
  • Assembles and provides ongoing data regarding staff to address district reporting needs.
  • Prepares and administers salary information.
  • Coordinates unemployment claims and hearings.
  • Manages long-term leave, including FMLA and extended sick leave and maternity leaves.
  • Oversees the fulfillment of ISBE and other state mandates related to personnel.
  • Processes employment verification and employee history requests.
  • Assists employees with information and questions regarding personnel records and status.
  • Assists in the preparation of employee handbooks.
  • In coordination with payroll, assists with District payroll functions and verifies pay record accuracy.
  • Assists administrators and building support staff by providing training and responding to questions related to the human resources processes and information systems.
  • Oversees management of substitute teacher records and payment.
  • Verify and maintain accurate employee leave and attendance records.
  • Oversees the onboarding and off-boarding of staff in human resources information systems.
  • Determine access and security in HR information systems for users.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Previous experience in human resources, payroll, benefits or related role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HR software and information systems. Experience with Tyler Infinite Visions (iVisions) preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, FMLA, and other HR-related regulations is a plus.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift and carry files, office supplies, and equipment up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to travel between district locations as needed.
  • Salary Information

    12-month IMRF Administrative Position

    Range : $115,000 to $155,000

    Benefits : Administrator Compensation and Benefit Package
