POSITION SUMMARY
Performs a variety of routine and complex administrative duties in the operation of the Community & Recreation Center and is responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for members, guests and colleagues. A Guest Relations Associate – Outdoor Pool works under the supervision of the Guest Relations Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor outdoor pool entrance, ensure patron check in and receiving monies
- Follow procedures and adhere to policies regarding safety, emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
- Communicate with the Guest Relations Coordinator: This includes answering emails and texts in a timely manner and following protocol for schedule changes.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Perform administrative tasks using iPad, desktop computer and cash register for transactions.
- Work 8-12 hours per week. Pool operates daily 11AM – 7PM except for designated holiday closures
QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be at least age 16.
- Must be CPR certified or willing to be trained to perform CPR and first aid.
- Must secure FBI, Child Abuse and Criminal History Clearances.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing in the English Language
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patrons, colleagues, the Township, and the general public.
Education and Experience
- Experience showing strong organizational and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
EQUIPMENT USED
- Membership automation system; personal computer including word processing and database management software; copy and fax machines; 2-way radio, overhead speaker system, calculator; phone.
