Salary : POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the day-to-day operations and guest services of the Municipal Three-Hole Golf Course and Tennis Facilities. The Tennis / Golf Attendant works under the supervision of the Community Programs Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adheres to and upholds all rules and regulations. Enforces all Township policies regarding play and use of the Three-Hole Golf Course and Tennis Facilities.
Act in a professional and positive manner by abiding by the dress code and upholding all Recreation policies.
Present and available throughout the entire scheduled shift to assist guests.
Communicates daily in a professional manner with other Township departments, tennis instruction professionals, and players.
Assists with scheduling, informational, and operational needs of the players and tennis instruction professionals.
Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned.
Complete all necessary paperwork and file as instructed.
Process payments and inspects and secures facilities as required daily.
QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be at least age 16.
Comfortable working with the public.
Ability to work independently (in a single-person office), consistently, and resourcefully in a positive customer-service oriented manner.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with tennis professionals, players, and other Township departments such as Public Works and IT dept.
Ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in person, and in writing in the English language.
Ability to assist with emergency situations.
Ability to separate and create a balance between work and personal life.
Education and Experience
Basic writing and math skills for record keeping
Familiarity with tennis and golf is helpful but not required
EQUIPMENT USED
Phone, iPad, and other office items necessary for building, tennis court and golf course oversight.
