TNA is looking for Tire Building (ATOM) Technicians to operate production equipment in our fast-paced, automated plant environment. This role is responsible for assembling a "green tire" through proprietary equipment following technical specs to achieve total customer satisfaction in quality and on-time delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to read and interpret technical specifications.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screen.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Load components or component material from a rolling
- Check machine and building materials for approved tolerance.
- Monitor the control panel and interpret results for problem-solving by troubleshooting and determining impact on each downstream process.
- Change and clean extruder dyes.
- Maintain tire-building goals for each production schedule.
- Follow safety instructions and SOP guidelines.
- Report all equipment malfunctions, unsafe equipment, improper functions, and material/product deviations.
- Report quality assurance abnormalities to the Supervisor.
- Keep a clean and safe work area throughout your shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Constant standing and walking up to 12 hours per day.
- This position may require lifting bulky objects up to 120 lbs.
- Push/Pulling wheeled racks.
- Occasional lifting, bending, kneeling, and squatting are required with full range of motion.
