What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Manager, Enterprise Applications position at Toyo Tire?
The Sr. Manager, Enterprise Applications will plan, initiate, and drive projects in its entirety, managing the project at every phase while communicating effectively with key business team members. This role requires leadership and a clear understanding of technology solutions that will enable the operations and effectiveness of the business. The Sr. Manager, Enterprise Applications will work closely with the CIO but will have autonomy in many areas around oversight of staff, proposals for improvements in IT policies and procedures, and will provide progress updates on many projects. This individual may also be called on to conduct research into new software packages and solutions outside of the assigned area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Utilize Project Management's best practices and principle and software development methodologies to complete a variety of applications development, deployment and integration activities with our SAP ERP platform as well as other off-the-shelf packaged and cloud-based partner solutions.
- Manage and oversee assigned staff and vendor resources to develop and execute a variety of applications development, deployment and integration activities with our SAP ERP platform as well as other off-the-shelf packaged and cloud-based partner solutions.
- Obtain approval from project sponsor(s) and / or primary stakeholder(s) and develop project cost estimations, monitor progress and control the project scope, priorities, budget and schedule.
- Advise management on the most appropriate applications to support the business goals.
- Create an efficient work environment, conducive to teamwork and collaboration, and encourage good communication between employees and management.
- Manage the business operations issues, requests, and support in a timely and professional manner.
- Supervise and participate in the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of all applications in TTHA's applications portfolio.
- Identify existing and required staff competency levels and develop plans to address performance gaps.
- Recruit new staff and vendors to efficiently support applications.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce all company technology policies.
- Explore new technologies and applications for potential use at TTHA.
- Interface with industry experts regarding applications and new technology trends in IT.
- Troubleshoot system problems with the team within agreed on service levels
- Assure system availability by monitor systems and continuously tuning or improving applications performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Project Management Proficiency - (PMP or PMI-ACP certification a plus)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise subordinates to support the functions of the position. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution in computer science, mathematics, physics or equivalent. A minimum of seven (7) years of increasingly responsible information technology experience.
