Toyoda Gosei North America (headquartered in Troy, MI) has an opening for a Corporate Planning Specialist in the Corporate Planning department. The Corporate Planning Specialist functions with a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for supporting companywide strategic activities for Toyoda Gosei (TG) North America Corporation (TGNA), and TG Americas Manufacturing Companies (AMCs).
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Toyoda Gosei North America (headquartered in Troy, MI) has an opening for a Corporate Planning Specialist in the Corporate Planning department. The Corporate Planning Specialist functions with a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for supporting companywide strategic activities for Toyoda Gosei (TG) North America Corporation (TGNA), and TG Americas Manufacturing Companies (AMCs).
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Support companywide activities such as Hoshin, Risk Management, and Policy Management in collaboration with Japan Headquarters and AMCs
- Create high-level communication materials and presentations for senior management
- Organize and support meetings to discuss strategic direction cross-functionally
- Support government affairs and the assessment of government policies on the Company
- Support community involvement initiatives
- Support management in strategic planning and provide them with tools to enable them to develop strategic plans with their teams
- Manage executive meeting planning, reports/presentations, and meeting minutes
- Drive optimization by being actively engaged in continuous improvement efforts
- Function in a highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork are crucial to organizational and individual success
- This role requires the flexibility and willingness to complete other duties and projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required
- Minimum of three years of related experience is preferred
- Japanese business experience and Japanese language skill preferred
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is required
- Demonstrable capability to deliver tangible business results is required
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office is required
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines is required
- Effective verbal, non-verbal, negotiation and written communication skills are required
- Ability to sustain a high degree of professionalism in interacting with internal and external customers is required
- Effective attention to detail, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills is required
- Experience working within an automotive manufacturing organization is preferred
