Toyoda Gosei North America (located in Troy, MI) has an opening for a QA/Warranty Summer Intern. The QA/Warranty Intern will assist the QA Warranty team with research and development warranty analysis tools using MS Access & MS Excel (VBA programmer) to perform warranty data analysis/reporting.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with warranty system specialist/analyst/manager to understand warranty data analysis and reporting
- Follow thru/learn TGNA warranty data management routines including download, filter, clean, and prepare, save warranty data and maintain warranty databases
- Develop MS Excel macros (VBA programming) for warranty reporting
- Develop/modify MS Access (VBA programming) for warranty data queries
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Coursework toward a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or Information Technology
- Knowledge of relational database, experience with MS Access, SQL, or other relational database management systems
- Knowledge of engineering raw data to support data analysis and visualization
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organization and communication skills required
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
