Toyoda Gosei North America (located in Troy, MI) has an opening for a Tax Summer Intern. The Tax Intern will assist the Finance/Accounting team with federal and state tax return preparation and standard operations of a corporate tax department, such as electronic and hardcopy filing.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to tax management team with tax fixed assets calculations
- Assist with the preparation of state apportionment schedules
- Support other tasks in tax and finance departments as assigned
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Minimum of 2 years' undergraduate studies completed including introduction to accounting
- Coursework towards a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field
- Coursework in Tax preferred but not required.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
- Excellent organization and communication skills required
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
