We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineering Manager to join our team. The Maintenance Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the team and to ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage a team and to work independently as needed.
Duties:
- Will oversee all repairs and upkeep of the company’s facilities and equipment and have a solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Will be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations.
- Will have administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc.
- The goal is to ensure that the facilities and equipment are well-cared for and adequate to support thecompany's business operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong service orientation.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
Qualifictions:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- 5-7 years experience in manufacturing maintenance management.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Computer literate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proven experience as an assistant manager or other managerial role.
- Experience in planning maintenance operationsSolid understanding of technical aspects of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems etc.
