About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Manufacturing in Huntsville, Alabama. As a key member of our General Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have industrial maintenance and/or military experience, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. They will also possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as knowledge of PLC's, computers, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, motion/motor control, welding, machining, and robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including assembling, designing, testing, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and machine components.
- Write, program, troubleshoot, modify, and repair programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
- Document work performed through written or electronic methods.
Requirements
- Industrial maintenance and/or military experience.
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge.
- Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Technical knowledge and skills in PLC's, computers & information technology, hydraulic/pneumatic, motion/motor control, welding, machining, and robotics.
