The Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our General Maintenance Department in Huntsville, Alabama. This role involves performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment according to established standards.

Your Responsibilities
As a Skilled Operation Support Maintenance and Facilities Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting production, quality, cost, and safety goals. Your responsibilities will include:
Designing, assembling, and testing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and equipment.
Fabricating and machining components for repairs, projects, and machine modifications.
Writing, programming, troubleshooting, modifying, and repairing programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment, and machine components.
Performing basic administrative tasks, including documentation of work performed.
Developing problem-solving skills to continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
Industrial maintenance and/or military experience.
Electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Technical knowledge and skills in PLC's, Computers & Information Technology, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Welding, Machining, Robotics.
Availability to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
Bonus Considerations
If you have the following qualifications, it may be advantageous:
An electrical degree, diploma, or certification of completion.
Experience working with and/or repairing robots.
Experience with Milling Machines, Lathes, Surface Grinders, or programming CNC Machines.
