Production Control Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Control Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production control, with experience in scheduling, forecasting, kanban systems, and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Production Control monthly reporting
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities as needed
- Complete requisitions for appropriate approvals and account numbers
- Work closely with the Production Control department to ensure proper supplies
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of automotive plants and processes, company products, trade terminology, quality management and control systems, and manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field
- Greater than 4 years of Production Control experience in a manufacturing facility required
- Automotive environment preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Production Control program launch experience for new programs
- Previous exposure to a multicultural office environment
- General understanding of Toyota Production System (TPS)
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Ability to compile effective and concise visual reports
Working Conditions:
- Standard automotive plant environment with moderate noise level
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, steel toe shoes, may be required in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial areas
Travel Requirements:
Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
Language Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Computer Skills: Solid working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and other computer-based applications
