About the Job: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Production Supervisor to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and maintaining the manufacturing and production system of assigned areas, accomplishing department hoshin goals, and keeping on task with targets and implementation schedule.
Main Responsibilities:
• Lead and maintain the manufacturing and production system of assigned areas
• Accomplish department hoshin goals and keep on task with targets and implementation schedule
• Direct the work of Team Leaders and Team Members by assigning/re-assigning work stationing and analyze production requirements based on current work situation and production schedules
• Perform the essential job functions of team leaders or team members as necessary to maintain efficient, stable, and continuous operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in automotive interiors including carpets, filters, powertrain, seating, and/or trim preferred
• Working knowledge and experience with TPS and Production Efficiency (PEFF) system preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job functions of a leadership role
• Ability to work a fixed or rotating shift schedule, including daily or weekend overtime
• Must be able to accept reassignment to any shift, assignment, or work location in the Plant
