Manufacturing Support Technician
Summary: We are seeking a Manufacturing Support Technician to join our team at {company}. Job Description:
The Manufacturing Support Technician will be responsible for supporting maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to provide a reliable production platform. This includes performing predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities.
The successful candidate will also oversee machines in the Automatic Assembly area, Stamping Press area, Coating (Painting) area, and Automatic Logistics area. Additionally, they will manage machine uptime/downtime and support Kaizen and other related activities.
Responsibilities:
* Support maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems
* Perform predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management
* Oversee machines in the Automatic Assembly area, Stamping Press area, Coating (Painting) area, and Automatic Logistics area
* Manage machine uptime/downtime
* Support Kaizen and other related activities
Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED required
* Industrial Maintenance Associate's degree preferred
* 2-5 years experience in robotics tuning, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication
* Self-starter with strong work ethic
* Good problem-solving and analytical skills
* Flexibility in a changing environment
* Mandatory overtime flexibility
* English, both written and verbal
* Basic Microsoft Office applications
Work Environment:
* Plant: Automotive manufacturing plant
* Travel: 0-10%
Physical Demands:
* While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear
* The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing and is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds
