Job Title: PE Specialist -- Smart Factory
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled PE Specialist to provide onsite support for our TBA Smart factory manufacturing execution system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing and maintaining manufacturing execution systems, as well as proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and consultation for new implementations of TBA Regional manufacturing execution system (TBA MES)
- Organize, schedule, and plan all phases of machine building process
- Assemble all related equipment per specified drawing, CAD, or verbal instructions
- Validate all assembled equipment by internal run off and plant sign off
- Support with internal changes or modifications to existing equipment
- Provide training to plant personnel after completion of machine and installation at plant
- Support any required activity to assist with repair issues
- Supply Machine bill of material (BOM), spare parts, and other requested documentation for service and repair
- Develop custom extensions that interface with TBA MES and augment production processes
- Provide front line support for technical issues related to production engineering
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Greater than six (6) years of relevant experience
- Five (5) years of experience implementing and maintaining manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- 1 - 2 years Automotive Industry and UBE equipment experience preferred
- Experience maintaining injection tooling and injection molding machines up to 2,000 tons
- 1 - 2 years of software development experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Japanese, Spanish, or Portuguese language skills
- CATIA experience
Work Environment:
The PE Specialist will work in a dynamic team environment, with frequent interaction with colleagues from various departments. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, and maintain a positive working relationship with all stakeholders.
Travel Requirements:
The PE Specialist may be required to travel up to 15% of the time to visit customers, attend training sessions, or participate in project meetings.
