General Summary :
Responsible for assisting with all functionsof the Production Control department. Oversee new program launch activitiesand assist with scheduling, forecasting, kanban system, and planning. Overseethe daily administration of PEFF.
II. Essential Job Functions :
A. Communicate with suppliers regarding goods and services for current and newmodels. B. Complete Production Control monthly reporting. C. Coordinate and communicate with all departments for product launch, modelchange, and ECI activities. D. Manage kanban system. E. Coordinate shipping and receiving activities as needed. F. Complete requisitions for appropriate approvals and account numbers. G. Work closely with Production Control department to ensure proper suppliesarrive. H. Trace delinquent arrivals from purchase orders. I. Support revenue growth by working with sales and customers. J. Manage inbound logistics (route management & delivery frequency fromsupplier) to achieve best cost efficient procurement. K. Preparation for new model production. (MRP system master set up, packagingstyle study, etc).

Minimum QualificationsRequirements
Education :
Bachelors degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related fieldrequired; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience :
Greater than 4 years of Production Control experience in a manufacturingfacility required. Automotive environment preferred.
Production Control program launch experience for new programs.
Experience with Toyota launch systems and requirements preferred.
Previous exposure to a multicultural office environment preferred.
PersonalTechnical Skills :
Basic shop math ability required (i.e., addition, subtraction,multiplication, division).
Understanding of conceptual math (i.e., basic geometry, charts and graphs)required.
Understanding of elementary statistical concepts (i.e., standard deviation,variance, etc.).
Thorough understanding and working knowledge of automotive plants andprocesses, company products, trade terminology, quality management and controlsystems and techniques, manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment, andmachine operation.
Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering documents such asautomotive drawings (component, assembly, and equipment), technical standards,design specifications, general tolerances, critical characteristics, GeometricDimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;), Engineering Change Instructions (ECI),Prototype Parts Requests (PPR), and color instructions.
General understanding of Toyota Production System (TPS) is preferred.
Good understanding of seat, welding, door, carpet, and headliner processesare a plus.

Solid working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and othercomputer-based applications (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, LotusNotesOutlook, Internet, etc.).
Work EnvironmentConditions
Office :
Open Office Environment, moderate noise level.
Plant :
Standard automotive plant environment with moderate noise level.PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, steel toe shoes,hearing protection, etc. may be required in engineering, manufacturing, orindustrial areas. Personal attire standards may apply.
Travel :
Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
Physical Demands :
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk,see, and hear. The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, andstanding and is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds.
