Toyota Boshoku America is a leading manufacturer of automotive parts, and we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Team Lead to oversee our quality control operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall plant quality system, directing team members, and managing group performance to achieve company goals.
Key responsibilities include monitoring staffing conditions, work hours, and overtime; ensuring compliance with company rules, policies, and practices; developing positive team member relations; and providing direction and motivation to team members. You will also be responsible for leading and maintaining assigned areas, accomplishing department hoshin goals, and implementing standardized work procedures using Toyota Production System (TPS) techniques.
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of quality management systems, production efficiency, and leadership skills. A bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of relevant manufacturing experience are preferred. Automotive industry experience and knowledge of TPS and Production Efficiency (PEFF) system are also beneficial.
