Lead Network Security Engineer
Plano, TX
Who we’re looking for
Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Technology team is looking for a highly motivated person to fill a role as a Lead Network Security Engineer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of network security measures to protect our organization's infrastructure from cyber threats. This role requires strong technical expertise in network security, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
This role is located in our Plano, TX headquarters and is hybrid in nature, with a mix of in-office days and some days working remotely; this could change in the future based on business needs. Candidates are expected to live within a commutable distance to Plano, TX.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and implement network security policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the design, review, and implementation of network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), virtual private networks (VPNs), and access control mechanisms.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate security controls into network architecture and infrastructure design.
- Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends related to network security.
- Participate in incident response and forensic investigations as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to network security architecture, configurations, and processes.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the effectiveness of network security measures.
