Overview
We're seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Toyota IN. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for supporting the manufacturing operation's goals in terms of quality, cost, and safety.
Your primary focus will be on preventive maintenance, process improvements, and effective troubleshooting. This includes testing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems, fabricating and machining components, writing and programming programmable logic controllers, and performing basic administrative tasks.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment and machinery
- Analyze and troubleshoot problems with equipment and machinery, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and implement new technologies
- Develop and maintain documentation, including work orders, maintenance records, and procedural guides
