About the Role
The Industrial Automation Maintenance Team Member at Toyota IN is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes. This involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements to equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Familiarize yourself with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems, and programming of automated controls and robotics.
- Perform technical skills in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements.
What You'll Be Doing
You will be working closely with the production team to support quality, cost, and safety goals. Your responsibilities include:
- Testing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems.
- Fabricating and machining components to repair jigs, fixtures, and parts.
- Writing, programming, troubleshooting, modifying, and repairing programmable logic controllers, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment, and machine components.
- Performing basic administrative tasks, including documentation of work performed.
- Problem-solving and continuously improving safety, quality, and productivity.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have one of the following qualifications:
- Associates degree (or higher) in an Industrial Automation Maintenance or similar field of study.
- 3 years hands-on industrial maintenance experience (Examples: Mechanical, Electrical, PLC's, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, or Robotics) while installing, maintaining, and/or troubleshooting equipment.
- Similar military hands-on experience.
Additional Requirements
You must also be available to work 2nd, 3rd, and/or weekend shift which may include overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns. Additionally, you should be available to work any shift for training purposes including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
