Why This Job Exists: Job Summary/Scope of Impact
As a Titles and Transfers Analyst at TICF, Inc. you will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment overseeing multiple processes on a day-to-day basis. The Titles & Transfers Analyst plays a key role in the captive finance lease and loan process. Financed vehicles, commercial trucks and equipment are a large portion of the asset portfolio for TICF. A title gives TICF legal right to a vehicle/commercial truck/equipment until it’s paid-in-full and our lien is released. The finance options are dependent upon our debt being “secured”. Our collateral is the vehicle/commercial truck/equipment, and the title secures that collateral.
It is imperative that TICF has accurate data in its system of record, holds valid lienholder and/or Registered Owner status to secure assets. Unsecured assets can lead to great financial loss for the organization in the form of financial charge-offs.
Being the front line of contact for dealers, customers, insurance companies, States/DMVs, toll agencies, and municipal agencies, the Titles & Transfer Analyst must represent TICF in a positive, professional manner by exhibiting best in-class knowledge of various State Laws and Regulations, internal Policies and Procedures, Lien Placement processes, Transfers and Contract Funding processes, UCC Filing/Closing processes, Repo Title and Tracking processes. The Titles & Transfers Analyst must exhibit the ability to develop effective solutions to problems based on subject matter expertise and research of areas within and beyond own area of responsibility and exemplify both written and verbal communication skills
What You’ll Do: Major Accountabilities
- Day to day oversight of multiple processes
- Own the Customer and Dealer Experience (CX/DX) in all interactions including detailed follow through
- Research complex issues and provide recommendations to leadership for resolution including title issues
- Monitor the aging of Missing Titles and Active Transfer Requests
- Execute job duties following policies, standards and/or procedures within target turnaround times; bring awareness to Leadership of any constraints or concerns
- Collaborate within and across teams and departments to analyze and resolve Customer issues
- Interfaces with customers and internal teams to receive, process, and manage TOE/TOL and name change requests and inquiries on assigned accounts
- Perform account analysis to determine customer eligibility for a Transfer of Equity, Transfer of Lease, and/or a Name Change
- Manually generate application for transfer and open transfer account utilizing CRM (Account Management Transfer System)
- Generate Lease & Loan Payoff quotes to review and analyze current account obligations
- Process and submit Transfer Credit Applications in TC3 to initiate Credit decisioning
- Complete evaluation and execution of contractual agreements for Transfer of Equity and Transfer of Lease
- Create all applicable documents TOE/TOL supplemental documents to include sales use tax notification, ACH enrollment, cross corporate guarantor, personal guaranty, and any addendums based on credit approval conditions
- Accurately maintain contract documentation and upload contract data into the centralized contract file maintenance system
- Utilize SAP/CRM and ERP to execute TOE/TOL and Name Changes on system and ensure system flow updates
- Maintain tracking spreadsheets for reporting
- Act as subject matter expert to Identify and implement process improvements to achieve desired outcomes by clarifying needs of the customer and business units
- Work with Supervisor to update process guidelines and procedures including process flow diagrams related to job roles and stakeholder functions
- Maintain knowledge of all State and Federal compliance and regulatory requirements and policies and procedures in order to research and handle escalated/complex issues and to accurately respond to internal/external customers and dealers’ inquiries
- Facilitate effective training of new team members, cross/refresher training sessions across all Transfers and Titles processes
- Enhance organization reputation by displaying positive verbal and written communications to customer; ultimately positively impacting Customer Experience
- Ability to effectively partner across business unites to achieve targeted results and help subordinate staff understand the up and downstream impacts of their job
- Ability to function independently within a multi-task environment while mastering a variety of tasks and functions
Who You Are: Experience, Training, Education
Required:
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
- At least 1 year of Titles and Transfers experience
- At least 2-3 years of Consumer or Commercial Finance
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem solving and influencing skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree
