About the position: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Application Engineering Supervisor to lead the deployment of automated products. This role is responsible for overseeing engineering deployment procedures and processes, ensuring seamless implementation, and collaborating with teams across the broader Toyota Material Handling family. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership capabilities, and a customer-focused mindset. You will: Supervise and Lead Engineering Deployments: Manage a team of Field Application Engineers to successfully deploy automated products across customer sites. Product Development Collaboration: Work with Development Engineering and the research team to provide clear product needs, ensuring they align with market demands. System Integration: Be involved in the integration of automated products into customer environments, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other automation systems. Develop Deployment Procedures and Processes: Establish and continuously improve best practices for engineering deployment, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and quality. Cross-Company Collaboration: Work closely with other companies within the Toyota Material Handling family to align deployment strategies and leverage shared resources. Customer Engagement & Technical Support: Serve as a key technical liaison for customers, ensuring smooth product implementation and troubleshooting as needed. Training & Development: Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to engineers to enhance their technical skills and deployment capabilities. Project Management: Oversee deployment projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met. Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all deployments comply with industry standards, regulations, and company safety policies. About the schedule: This position is 1st Shift About you: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or a related field. 3 years of experience in Field Application Engineering, Automation, or a related industry. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Ability to travel as needed up to 50% to support deployments and customer engagements both domestic and out of the country. It would be great if you had: 5 years of related experience 2 years of leadership experience in a supervisory or management role. Strong understanding of automated systems, robotics, AGVs, and industrial automation technologies. Experience working with Toyota Material Handling companies or similar organizations is a plus. Proven ability to develop and implement standardized engineering deployment processes. About the total compensation package: Salary - $84,193 - $107,774 depending on selected candidates education and experience.
