Position Summary:

Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities, and compiles and maintains manual or computerized records. Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.

Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.
Day in the Life:
- Minimizes customers' build downtime related to parts availability and procurement issues.
- Investigates and resolves problems with delivery of missing parts.
- Relaying information such as estimated delivery dates or other messages to and from the technicians and managers as needed.
- Speaking with supervisors, other department personnel or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or parts requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate to procurement teams when potential shortages arise
- Monitor production schedules for ongoing jobs, assign materials, boost productivity by preventing delays that can affect delivery
- Assists Material Handling Teams in preparing & delivering material to end users
- Performs other duties in the Material Handling Department when requested.
- Work overtime as needed, including weekend shifts
- At least 1 year of material handling experience
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in ERP Systems (Microsoft Access preferred)
- Specific vision abilities required; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
