Toyota Material Handling North America will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position. External Description About the position: We are seeking a Pricing Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible to help determine competitive pricing strategies to gain market share and achieve revenue goals. The candidate will also analyze data from multiple sources, develop complex pricing models, and collaborate with Product Management and sales teams to develop sales strategies. You will: Supports execution of pricing promotions. Supports TMHNA GTM pricing parity efforts as needed. Analyzes exception reporting to identify areas requiring follow up/resolution. Supports transition to electronic discount request and documentation process to ensure data are collected and available for analysis. Assists in the development and execution of value-based pricing framework to establish list prices (new products and/or pricing changes). Conducts pricing, margin, and related analysis, modeling, and research. Supports development and implementation of metrics to monitor performance and effectiveness of pricing and discounting. Develops and implements new processes and/or efficiency improvements for pricing and promotions. Engages in competitive intelligence, collecting and analyzing information on market trends and conditions, and uses the information to develop pricing strategies and proposals. Prepares executive financial summaries and pricing analyses. Attends and reports at various review meetings. Establishes the appropriate cadence for pricing changes and specific timelines to follow this cadence. Completes ad hoc projects, analyses, and other financial projects as required. About you: A bachelor’s degree in economics, business, accounting, finance or related field is preferred. Position requires at least four years of related experience, including at least three years of experience in business analytics. Experience in the material handling industry is preferred. It would be great if you had: In depth knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures related to economics, marketing, general business, pricing, and finance/analysis. Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and dependability. Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and analytical skills to understand and interpret complex data. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. About the schedule: This position is based in our Greene, NY office and will have a hybrid schedule reporting in-office three days a week. Travel anticipated to be ~5%. About the total compensation package: Salary - $65,500 - $83,800 per year. Compensation commensurate with selected candidate’s experience.
