What We’re Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or an equivalent of combination of education and experience
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferably steel fabrication
- Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Reading and Understanding Blueprints is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Supervises the activities of manufacturing personnel in assigned department
- Supervises inventory compliance and the maintenance of supplies
- Coordinates with vendors, suppliers, or other 3rd party professionals where applicable
- Leads department scheduling and helps set priorities based on company plan
- Provides for housekeeping of all assigned areas of the plant
- Notifies appropriate facility personnel of any maintenance requirements for assigned area
- Ensures that all personnel abide by all safety rules and procedures
- Trains facility personnel relating to manufacturing procedures
- Makes recommendations for continuous improvement in workflow and project management
- Ensures operations are properly staffed and personnel are properly trained
- Ensures materials, tools, and other resources are accessible for operations
- Analyze and provide solutions to manufacturing challenges or problems
- Ensures implementation of company policies and procedures
- Evaluates operations to control costs and maintain competitive position
- Ensures protection of Company assets through ongoing maintenance of facility infrastructure
- Sets expectations for assigned department to ensure safety, quality, cost, delivery, and service
