Job Overview:
Our Commercial Lines Account Manager will manage the day-to-day service and sales associated with our dealer insurance service programs, including providing necessary client documents for quote, enrollment, and verification of coverage. A high level of coverage knowledge, sales and service will be required in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to agency partners specifically in analyzing client needs, coverage forms and quotations.
- Schedule and attend appointments with clients as requested.
- Occasionally attend and consult on prospect and client meetings as requested.
- Maintain thorough understanding of program qualifications and making underwriting decisions aligned with policy provisions.
- Order and issues binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items; verifies their accuracy; forwards them to client with appropriate correspondence.
- Determine if direct or agency billing is appropriate and invoice accordingly in AMS.
- Prepare summaries of insurance, schedule, and proposals for word processing as needed.
- Maintain and manage monthly reporting of program premiums and enrollments to carrier and agency partners
- Prepare renewals in coordination with program standards.
- Review audits of policies; verify accuracy and facilitate corrections, as needed, between client and carrier.
- Verify policy and policy change information, facilitating corrections when necessary.
- Process incoming mail and phone requests, responding promptly and appropriately.
- Process and follow up on cancellations requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution; maintains agency in financial equity whenever possible.
- Assist clients in submitting first reports of claims, facilitates prompt response from carrier staff and follows up on claims status, according to agency procedures.
- Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverages in coordination with agency partners.
- Identify and assist agency partners with risk control and risk management and catastrophe planning.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 5 years insurance experience or a minimum of 10 years industry experience.
- Property & Casualty Agents License required
- Knowledge of insurance rating and underwriting processes.
- Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.
- Familiarity with Nexsure XDTI AMS
- Professional designations (CPCU, CIC, CRM, etc.) in lieu or years’ experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.
- Familiarity with Nexsure XDTI AMS
- Functional knowledge of law and insurance regulations in various jurisdictions

Compensation:
- $80,000-$100,000 based on skills and experience.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Remote: 08:00 AM-5:00 PM (Prefer candidates from Texas or Oklahoma)
