Intern Job Responsibilities:
- Develop a foundational understanding of the insurance industry and agency operations.
- Attend selected meetings to observe and document action steps for communication.
- Manage Point-of-Sale Launch Checklist for seamless onboarding.
- Work with the compliance, sales and analytics team to build Power BI Agent visualization reports and scorecards.
- Collaborate with department managers, teams, and cross-functional groups for process.
- Assist in and engage with a variety of organizational and volunteer activities.
- Perform additional tasks assigned on a project basis.
- Participate in group projects with cohorts in sales.
- Complete adhoc projects as assigned.
Competencies:
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Meticulous and able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of basic formulas, pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Compensation
· Base Salary: $18-$22 based on skills and experience
· Minimum experience: Entry-level or Junior/Senior in college.
Position Type/Expected Hours of work/Compensation:
This is a full-time position for the months of May - August. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. This is an onsite position in Plano, TX.
