Your team and your responsibilities
Team/division description
As part of TME R&D organization, the Powertrain Division is responsible for local development of powertrains for vehicles, built in one of the TME production plants, and for planning and research of new European technologies. Latest focus points include electrification, big data and connectivity.
Your project is about investigating new e-axle technologies.
-Innovation scouting through literature and patents
-Make roadmaps for technical aspects of e-axle architectures and electric motors
-Rate and summarize technology benefits and technical hurdles for industrialization and future
-Focus on sustainability aspects of e-axle components (magnet, ‘green e-steel’, insulation materials)
-Investigate circularity potential (re-use, recycle, refurbish) materials and components
Your Profile
Your profile
- You are fluent in English (TME’s business language).
- University student with at least 2 years of study already completed.
- You have a European EEA citizenship. (Not requiring a visa to work in Belgium).
- You must be a student for the entire duration of the internship.
- Open personality and able to work independently in a multi-cultural business environment.
- Eager to dive into technical topics and able to summarize and explain keypoints.
