Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas. As an Electrical and Mechanical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring their safety, quality, and productivity.
This includes troubleshooting and repairing various systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment, while documenting all work performed. You will also be responsible for fabricating and machining components to repair jigs, fixtures, and parts, as well as writing, programming, troubleshooting, modifying, and/or repairing programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
Additionally, you will need to document your work using written or electronic methods and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance and/or military experience
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Technical knowledge and skills in PLCs, Computers & Information Technology, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Welding, Machining, and Robotics
