Who we're looking for
Toyota's Environmental & Facilities Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Project Engineer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage construction projects (expansions, renovations, greenfield, etc.) at North American production plants and other facilities.
Reporting to the Manager - Environmental & Facilities Engineering, the person in this role will support the Plant & Environmental Engineering department's objective to provide project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs for North American manufacturing plants.
What you'll be doing
- Develop criteria (mechanical, electrical, fire protection, civil / structural, etc.) for design of buildings.
- Provide technical support to North American Manufacturing plants in the areas of building design and construction, including development and maintaining of building related standards.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for industrial buildings and building related systems as technical support for local facility groups at each site, as well as for submittals during project management.
- Provide experience in plant planning project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs.
- Mentor engineers, construction coordinators, and other project personnel to increase their skillset in industrial construction.
- Create Customer Satisfaction with proper communication and consensus with customer to support their needs.
