Toyota’s Production Engineering – Strategy, Planning and Development Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Budget Planning Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the development, analysis & reporting for North American budget planning.
Reporting to the Manager of Budget & Resource Planning, the person in this role will support the Strategy, Planning and Development department's objective to manage capital and operating budget for all projects within Production Engineering.

Reporting to the Manager of Budget & Resource Planning, the person in this role will support the Strategy, Planning and Development department's objective to manage capital and operating budget for all projects within Production Engineering.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead Capital Budget planning & tracking for all Vehicle plants
- Review capital Ringis for assigned shops (ex. Assembly E&F)
- Review monthly actuals from accounting and update PE reporting tools
- Maintain Ringi approval flows in Production Engineering (PE) Ringi Database
- Develop a process to track and monitor Production Related capital spend
- Develop and maintain work instructions for PE shops
- Implement training to PE members on capital budget
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience in Accounting & Finance (A&F) or Engineering
- Over 2 years of experience working in Production Engineering (PE) or related functions such as Accounting & Finance (A&F)
- Over 2 years of experience with SAP Accounting System
- Over 1 year experience with using reports in Microsoft Power BI
- Experience with operating budget within Toyota
- Experience with capital projects within Toyota
- Experience with creating operating procedures on either current or new processes
