Toyota’s Environmental and Facilities (E&F) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer.
Reporting to the Environmental & Facilities – Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Manager, the primary responsibility of person in this role will support Toyota Motor North America’s (TMNA) objective to achieving Toyota’s goals of meeting compliance requirements and being a good corporate neighbor.

Who We’re Looking For
Toyota’s Environmental and Facilities (E&F) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer.
Reporting to the Environmental & Facilities – Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Manager, the primary responsibility of person in this role will support Toyota Motor North America’s (TMNA) objective to achieving Toyota’s goals of meeting compliance requirements and being a good corporate neighbor.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Evaluation / determination of compliance status
- Local implementation of action plans to achieve environmental performance targets
- Large number of local environmental aspects & compliance obligations (Air, Waste & Storm Water)
- Assuring that plans & standards to achieve regulatory requirements are implemented and are being followed, within the environmental function and at the operation / process level
- Review project proposals for environmental impact and work to secure and update necessary permitting
- Bachelor of Science degree (or higher) in Chemical, Environmental
- Experience in project planning & implementation
- Experience in executive report preparation & presentation
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS and Outlook)
- Ability to work up to 20% overtime when required
- Ability to travel up to 20% when required
- Masters degree in engineering or relevant discipline
- Experience leading projects and working collaboratively across company and multiple functions
- Fundamental skills of problem-solving and desire to improve/kaizen
