Who We’re Looking For

Toyota’s Human Resource Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Team Member Relations Analyst at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Missouri (TMMMO).

The primary responsibility of this role is to support team members (TMs) and manufacturing leadership in their resolution of concerns and to appropriately interpret and consistently apply policies and procedures.

Reporting to the Team Member Relations Manager at TMMMO, the person in this role will support the Human Resource Department’s objective to provide excellent Human Resources support through understanding, developing, and facilitating creative HR solutions to achieve a high-level TM experience.

This onsite position is based in Troy, Missouri. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Track and verify that team is meeting customer service targets for follow-up, issue close-out, and team member concern resolution.
  • Participate in new hire and promotional interviewing.
  • Conduct TM sensing and communicate key issues and results monthly.
  • TM performance/behavior/attendance (PBA) investigation and corrective action and ensure that are tracked and countermeasure activity to address abnormality.
  • Support team member needs for information and support according to the Toyota Way and Respect for People culture.
  • Train, coach, and provide guidance to group leaders on HR policies and procedures.
  • Coach supervisors and managers through complex issues.
  • Routinely use judgement on policy and ethics issues to protect the company and team members.
  • Oversee, plan, and execute complex morale and engagement projects using Toyota Way principles
  • Manage existing processes while working through complex TMR issues.
  • Identify new opportunities or gaps in current HR processes/policies that changing business needs create.

What You Bring

  • HR experience, or experience supervising people involving some HR responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a project team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in a team environment, consensus driven organization.
  • Proven ability in problem-solving, both collaboratively and independently.
  • Ability and willingness to work any shift at TMMMO (including weekend and night shifts).

Added bonus if you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Management, Communications, or closely related field.
  • Team member / employee relations experience.
  • HR Generalist experience.
  • PHR or SPHR certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • 2 years Toyota experience.
  • Toyota JKK/TBP completed.
