Make each job thorough and complete to reduce return repairs. If the vehicle should be returned for additional work, complete it quickly, correctly, and cheerfully.
Have a completed worksheet and review it with the estimator before beginning the work.
Ensure that the vehicle is pre-scanned and disinfected before starting disassembly, that the vehicle is disassembled completely for the estimate, and that it is covered and protected at all times using Crash Wrap and plastic covers to keep it from damage.
Ensure the vehicle is properly tagged and mapped before starting production.
Submit your request to parts as soon as it is determined what is required for a particular job.
Ensure that all parts are properly stored before, during, and after job completion in the assigned box or cart.
Ensure at all times that no parts or tools are in or on a vehicle and that the work area is free from work hazards.
Reassemble vehicle and perform quality checks after repairs are completed.
Perform quality checks after reassembly is completed, ensuring all lights and vehicle functions are operating properly.
Access manufacturer repair procedures when needed, following repair process manuals and utilizing frame measuring system.
Keep the estimator or production manager informed of any supplemental work that may be required or of any delays to estimated completion time as you make those determinations so the customer can receive up-to-date information.
Make sure the proper paperwork is completed and filed after every job completion
