We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicle systems, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of safety and quality. The Automotive Technician will work with a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, and will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including powertrain, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Utilize power tools and equipment effectively to complete repairs and installations.
• Conduct auto estimating for repairs needed on vehicles.
• Align wheels and perform suspension adjustments as required.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure efficient workflow in the shop.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop environment.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
• Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and their diagnostics.
• Experience in diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Ability to align vehicles accurately using appropriate equipment.
• Knowledge of auto estimating processes for repairs.
• Welding skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Previous experience working in a dealership setting is preferred but not required.
