The Computer Administrator Position has Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $26.00 and $32.00.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded IT Support Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for providing technical support to users, maintaining infrastructure, and managing systems including VoIP telephony, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and virtualization platforms. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and as part of a dynamic IT team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tier 1 and 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and network access.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software, hardware, printers, and peripherals.
- Manage and support VoIP systems and troubleshoot related issues.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, including user provisioning, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Maintain user accounts, groups, and permissions using Azure Active Directory.
- Assist in managing virtualized environments (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).
- Participate in IT projects, hardware upgrades, and system rollouts.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and documentation of procedures.
- Assist with system backups, security monitoring, and patch management.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in IT support or desktop services roles.
- Practical experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure Active Directory.
- Working knowledge of VoIP phone systems and related protocols.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or equivalent are a plus.
