Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Car Sales Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars, a customer-centric attitude, and a drive to meet and exceed sales goals. In this role, you will engage with potential customers, identify their needs, provide expert product knowledge, and close sales in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Customer Service:
- Greet and engage customers in the showroom or via phone/internet inquiries.
- Assess customer needs and match them with suitable vehicles from our inventory.
- Demonstrate vehicle features, answer questions, and offer test drives.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring they return for future purchases and services.
- Negotiate vehicle prices, financing options, and trade-in values.
- Goal Achievement:
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets, including a minimum of [X] vehicles sold per month.
- Ensure proper follow-up with leads and customers to close sales and finalize deals.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date on all product offerings, features, and promotions.
- Educate customers on financing options, warranties, and dealership services.
- Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and process sales contracts and related documents.
- Maintain an organized and updated customer database.
- Assist with vehicle inventory management, ensuring proper vehicle display and stock.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with sales managers and other team members to meet dealership goals.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to continuously improve sales techniques.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience in the automotive industry preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be comfortable with working weekends and evenings as needed.
