We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Parts Counter Person to join our Parts Department on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to grow in the automotive industry with a supportive and dynamic team.
Position:
Type: Part-time (3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday preferred)
Schedule: Flexible, with core days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Hours: Approximately 20-25 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing parts for vehicles.
- Process parts orders and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Handle parts returns and exchanges in a professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and provide accurate information about parts availability and pricing.
- Provide excellent customer service by offering expert advice and recommendations on parts.
- Work closely with technicians and other staff to ensure timely and accurate parts delivery.
- Maintain an organized and clean parts counter area.
- Work closely with wholesale customers to manage their orders, provide exceptional service, and build lasting relationships.
- Ensure wholesale parts orders are processed quickly and accurately to meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Automotive experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mentality.
- Ability to work with inventory systems and manage parts orders efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and organization.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
