Service Porter

Job Description:

Toyota/Subaru of Findlay is seeking two reliable part-time, customer-focused Automotive Service Porters to join our team. As a porter, you will be responsible for assisting our service department with moving and organizing vehicles, ensuring the dealership’s vehicles are in top condition, and providing support to service advisors and technicians.

Schedule: PART-TIME 20-25/WK.

7:30AM-12:30PM Monday-Friday.

OR

1:00PM-5:00PM Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them with their vehicle drop-offs and pickups.
• Drive and park vehicles safely within the dealership lot.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service area and dealership lot.
• Assist in washing and detailing vehicles before customer pickup.
• Move vehicles to the appropriate locations for service or delivery.
• Perform basic inspections of vehicles for damage or service needs.
• Help prepare vehicles for delivery to customers.
• Maintain the lot and service areas in an orderly and clean condition.
• Some janitorial duties will be a part of the role.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of automotive terms and vehicle handling.
• Must be reliable and punctual.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in an automotive dealership or similar environment.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle care and maintenance.
